Picked this up, not the most exciting.

 

Just shot at PCGS TrueView. MS67
Unusually smooth toning for a Silver Eagle.

I purchased this one from a member on CU, I had to pay dearly to get it but it “spoke to me”! It is graded MS 65 * (Star) in an NGC holder. The picture is not mine but represents the coin very well.

Disappears for years only to make a comeback proof style. Still hating moderns I see.

 

Picked up another Morgan for my collection, and of course it has to be toned.

 

"Acquired" this by finding it in a bag of unsearched wheats. A neat doubled die, and a cherrypicker's variety. :thumb:

Really? I thought there no longer was such a thing as "unsearched" wheats

 

Nothing too exciting to see, but exciting for me!

 

They are picked for key dates, but rarely are they checked for die varieties. One person's wheat cents are another person's treasure.

 

It's all good!

 

Went to my LCS today and picked out 10 proofs, looking for ones with the strongest cameos. Got a few CAMS, UCAMS, and I think this one is definitely DCAM...



I just realized I put it in the wrong slot. D'oh!

 

Didn't mean to disappear, just busy. Managed to send a few things to NGC with mixed results.
