Picked this beauty a few weeks ago. Love the sunset toning on the Obv. Also take a good look at Abe he looks like he's smiling.

1959 Lincoln Cent Proof. The key to the P-Mint Memorial Proof Lincoln Colorfully-Toned Subclass. For some reason this date is practically impossible to find diverging from the standard copper color. This monster has a silvery hue with subtle green and blue undertones -- there are a few flecks of orange-red in Lincolns hair. Robec just photographed this one for me today and did a fantastic job. This will be heading off to PCGS for grading in a few weeks.

So this finally completes my rainbow P-Mint Memorial Proof Lincoln collection! A feat which took me a year and a half to finish.

Im almost positive I could write a Best Seller about my life and the things ive seen and observed over these 25 short years. Throw in a little family history and background and everybody would want a copy, next thing i know i would be in Oprahs Book Club and a famed author (dont I wish).

Anyway, Im glad you guys have enjoyed the tid-bits of my life and collecting inspiration that I write up here occasionally. Just let me know if it ever becomes too much, although I think its important to find out information about our fellow collectors. It helps to give an idea of what and how your collections are formed and evolving and will hopefully assist others in helping members to grow their collections as well

I don't see why that coin could not grade MS65-66.

I cant resist on this one, but to me Lincoln looks like he just enjoyed some 'extra curricular activity' of the green plant variety. Half cracked smile and droopy looking eyes.... we can call him Stoney Lincoln.
