Thanks for them sharing with US!!! Some very nice buys folks:thumb::bow: I just picked up a 1950-P Roosevelt Dime MS-66fb I will post it asap:kewl:
What a great commemorative, C1966. I've always loved the design. I don't know why I waited so long to pick one up. This isn't exactly what I was looking for but I bought it with a T$ to bump over the $1500 sales tax rule in CA. Lance.
Hey Ikeigwin, what is the grade on that Stone Mountain? Would that be considered toning and how much does that effect the grade TPG's give?
NGC graded it MS65. Yes, that is toning which can have a slight affect on the market grade but technically shouldn't. It does impact price because many collectors pay more for attractive toning and less for ugly toning. Lance.
Alright guys, major incoming. I have not updated in a long while. Included are my first Barber, 1976 silver clads (non-proof), and my first Walking Liberty and Standing Liberty!! So excited to share!!!! Looks like it is going to be two posts...haven't figured out how to crop all of these together and make them a bit neater.
Once again guys, sorry I don't know how to get the Obverse/Reverse of the same coins next to one another. Luck of the draw I suppose.
I don't mean to spam the thread guys, but also just wanted to note that most of the dings and scratches you see in these pics are are the holding cases, not the coins. I also took them in black and white because they are just white blurrs if I do it in color. I know it may be hard to grade, but take a wild guess =D?
Thanks Taylor! I really wish you could see these two Bicentenials and the Walker in person, I think you would be amazed. I would guess the Washington to go low-MS to Hi-AU, where as the Kennedy to go low to hi AU. The Walker, well, I'd guess that to be AU-58. Scans, in holders, in black and white really don't do these gems any justice. Also, the Barber, and SLQ aren't very pretty. So I can see them dragging that average down a bit.
Lance, very nice Lincolns... and yes, the coins sold by Andy are typically at the higher end of the price range, but they are also at the high end of the eye appeal and grade scale as well. Of all of the coins I own, my very favorties are purchases from Andy and worth every penny of the prices paid. Cool to see all of these Stone Mountain halves posted... I just got this one at the Long Beach show and I think that I practically stole it at under the Greysheet bid price! It's an NGC MS65 w/ CAC sticker
Nice, Illini! I love the look. And yes, you did steal that one. Is it a keeper or are you thinking of flipping it? Lance.
