1882-O Morgan Dollar. Robec did an outstanding job on this PCGS MS63 (OGH) Morgan that I bought a few weeks ago. This coin has some of the best irridescent red, green, and fuschia color (almost neon) that I have ever seen on a Morgan Silver Dollar.
Well, it is no longer anyway red, but it is still a very nice coin IMO. There are a couple "flaws" on the reverse. Both, I think, are strike troughs. The one obvious in the pictures above UNUM. The second and more obvious in hand is to the left of OF.
I've actually had this since April, but just now took a photo of it. The bottom coin was acquired in a trade with a fellow NGC board member.
I haven't had time to image my new items from the last couple of months, but I did shoot this one real quick. It's only the second peace dollar I have. Really though, it was the low price that I couldn't pass up. I realize it's a common date Peace, but I couldn't go wrong. This and a common Mercury were $35 delivered. I know next to nothing about grading one, but it sure looks nice and has cartwheel luster. Here is my only other one for comparison. More baggy for sure. -greg
traz, that link you posted a page back just sends me to the list of all the registry sets, not yours. is yours the driftwood one? i'm assuming it is, but it doesn't show your 1877 as 67CAM, only PR66. actually, on that registry it says there are 0 graded higher than PR66??? awesome upgrades!
Here this should work, the other set isn't viewable to public probably: http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/publishedset.aspx?s=102168&ac=1 here, I fixed the complete nickel proof one: http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/alltimeset.aspx?s=68063 I have MS/Proof set too...
