1897-H Hong Chong Dime If were MS-60 or better $120.00 why 1 year mint mark is what the World book said
My latest addition. I wasnt out looking for this piece but it cropped up on a site, was priced right, liked the look/tone and the reverse was interesting so I snatched it. Septimius Severus (AD 193-211) AR Denarius O: Laureate head right. R.Corn ear between crossed cornucopia. (3.19 gm). Emesa (Antioch) mint, AD 194/195. RIC 373, RSC 142b.
Here's the Washinton I mentioned in this thread a few days ago. First time trying axial lighting, this is what I came up with.
Very cool. I just won a washington too. $19 shipped, not bad! Sellers and NGC pics: As a side note, why are NGC photos always to yellow-y? I've probably looked at 100 NGC pics or so, various coins, and they always have this problem, old slabs, new slabs. I think they probably image 1000 coins a day, so could they spend 1 minute a month setting WB correctly for their studio cameras?
New Dime and one more PCGS MS 66 Buffalo Not much but here's a PCGS PR70 dime and another 38D buffalo in MS66 PCGS slabbed. Just got them in today.
Just arrived today.. not toned or anything but a nice set of Kennedy halves from 64 thru 2012 along with the 05-10 satin issues. No proofs or silver proofs though... Okay, are there any varities I should be on the look out for with some of these? Photos are not great but the set looks really nice.
Just started a Classic Head Half Cent collection and just received my first coin. 1835 C-2 with plenty of red still present. Thanks Ricky.
Here is my newest. So close to a FH, but just not quite. I need to take another picture though. The dark mark on the rim of the reverse is the shadow of the prong and not on the coin. This was an EBAY grab.
