I like that one too. It gives a guy a real good idea on how big and powerful these Buffalo's are. What a gorgeous animal!!
The buffalo is a gorgeous animal. There is a buffalo ranch here where I live and that beast is huge. Never thought they were as big as they are.
Won these on ebay from Bahabully for .01 cent each and a 2.95 shipping charge. I think I did rather well on this one.
Here is the second lot I won on ebay from Bahabully again for a winning bid of .01 cent each and a shipping charge of 2.95. Another winner if you ask me.
I bought a Chicken simply because I've never seen a Chicken on a Coin. Granted it's Irish but whatever! Then, I spotted this multi-metal coin frome Fance with a little tiny plug in the center of it. Had to make it mine! Not stopping, I spotted this Hong Kong Dollar. The reverse looked fairly clean and the price was right! Lastly, the satiny, stark surfaces of this coin from Belize, coupled with its light blue toning, demanded that I purchase it! The coin simply looked very appealing from a numismatic perspective.
19Lyds - I like that bimetallic coin! That is a hen and chicks on the Irish 1d coin , not a turkey LOL!
Okay, I don't do darkside, I don't do darkside, I don't do darkside, I don't do darkside. Well, I guess I just did do dark side--couldn't resist, as I love this set, and managed to find one at a good price. Gorgeous, and a mintage of 2500?????
lol, you couldn't tell from many of the recent coins. My latest Acquisition is actually a book- United States Copper Cents 1816-1857 An eye opening look at the microscopic differences between dies. I am not very good at telling the difference...
