Thanks for having posted the "original" one !
I think we should apologize since this thread is rooted in "US coin forum" ...
Maybe should we open another one "newest ancients" ( so to speak :) )

About half way on the fifty piece set. Am actually branching into MS coins that look right and if the price is right to fill holes along the way. That's a MS64 I got a screaming deal on.

Yeah, I would probably scream if I were to get robbed as well :) Nice commem, LindeDad. Love the golden hue.

Here are two of my major ones. These will be slowing down my buying for some time.

I can see how those would slow buying now, sweet additions.

I bought this one because I liked the way it looked. Details or not. :D

Took my son to his first coin show,
his goal was to find a Large Cent that was pre 1816 for our type set,
my goal was a trade dollar for the same set.
    We found one of each.

We are not including gold in the set due to price but he did have one piece of gold that caught his eye that we could afford (not US though).
He said it looks like the ship the Dawn Treader (from the CS Lewis Narnia series).

Camlov: great additions to your type set! Im sure adding them with your son meant even more.
In regards to the coins, I love how smooth the large cent is! Classic head large cents are very very tough to find without corrosion or other issues.
    Nicely done! :thumb:
