I was at my local coin club meeting on monday, and the prices (some of them) were nuts! I feel sorry for some YN who bought a roll of steel cents for $9, seeing as how from a local pawn shop you can get those for $6
Apologize for the pics. I need to make a black mask for my camera - believe that is half of the problem of the glare and therefore muted toning on my cent pictures. All uncirculated - 1930, 1931 D, 1938, 1939, & 1939 D. Yep, that is a spot on the reverse of the 39 S - straight up carbon. I am STOKED about the 31 D. My pics make it look terrible. Easy MS63. Price was under $50 for the lot.
I just realized I never took pictures of my two new Franklins, my 4 new WQDs, and my silver proof set. I will take some snap shots after work TODAY and post them all for you. Not in amazing condition (well, the proofs are =P ) but they are new to me!
1909 P Indian I picked up this one as an MS64 Brown by IGC. Cracked it out of the holder to get better pictures.
picked this up on ebay today. listing was for a 1900 Liberty Nickel, this was the picture that was posted, which might be the reason I got it for a grand total of $0.45, including shipping lol. i'll post what it actually looks like when I get it.
Picked up these three silver collector Canadian dollars for melt. What attracted me most about them is the wild toning brought about by the original mint cases. Enjoy!
I was cleaning out my camera case and found some stuff from the Jan 2012 Fun show Plus I changed my avatar, photo taken yesterday at the CAPE MAY NJ ZOO
