Hey Baha, Ahh yes, I saw the '45 ... I liked this 57-D a bit more. I am going to try to cross it to PCGS and get a TrueView of it .. will post. You have a good eye!
I have a question for the greatest minds out there. I am working on my Dansco 70/70 type binder and I have 2 commems that are graded that I have been dabating wether or motto crack them out and put them in the binder. What's your take on this? They are both the .50 & 1.00 army silver commems graded at PF-69. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
What are they worth, and what's the risk? I have no problem with cracking low value coins. Expensive/conditional rarities are another matter. Lance.
Well Like I said they are both graded the $1 is NGC PF 69 Ultra Cam worth $51.25 and the .50 is PF69DCAM worth $28.00
Bought all these for my Dansco 70/70 Type set. Some are fillers since I cant get the nicer ones due to cost lol.
The greatest minds are all busy right now, but I'll give you my opinion. I say crack them, these sell for virtually the same price whether raw or in the 69 holder.
Some things I bought last weekend and got on Sat. '62 & '64 Proof sets for $1 over melt of the 3 silver coins another '64 Proof for $2.50 over melt 2011 W SILVER EAGLE NGC MS 70 at a good price Unc Roosevelt Dime set 1946 to 1964 (Silver)
Will post pictures tomorrow. At the local coin club meeting tonight, I crossed a date/mm off of my Lincoln set list. 1924 S PCGS MS63RB with a green bean CAC sticker. Excellent strike and a very pleasing eye appeal.
Wow! That's a hot one, Lance! I'll call it a 50, but I'm a conservative grader. What'd PCGS say?! Guess this would be a good time to share one of my own CBH overdates... Which also happens to be a Newp! Some moron decided to bid it up... But, thankfully, he was the underbidder. I don't mind shelling-out a few extra $ for something with this much eye-appeal. It's not the scarcest overdate for the the date (1824), with the 1824/1 holding that title, but it's essential for the set I'm attempting to assemble. -Brian PS- These are the seller's photos. I'll snap a few of my own when the coin arrives, hopefully catching the fairly-dramatic overdate.
I've been trying to fill the empty slots i my Eisenhower Album. Here are some new S mints I recently received.
Here is my jury rig 3 ring binder using DSW polypropylene 2.5" wide 9 pocket pages. You get the picture, I hope. I really believe this will store my IKES safely for years to come. zeke.
Been looking for this token design for a while. I finally found one in decent condition with very nice toning. AND...a different lighting method to show off some of the color...
