Sorry @MIGuy but the seller had this at half the price guide value. I couldn't say no... 165739549623
Picked this one up from a fellow member at last night's LCC meeting. Clean for the grade of G-04 and the WB-5 die marriage, an R-4. Didn't really need this coin, it just appealed to me and was offered at a very low price.
Had to have it. Been looking for a 1786 that was affordable for a while. Happy as a clam with my new addition
For over a year now, Ike rattlers have been HOT! Without cac they have all been ending 150 to under 200. Don't matter the grade or if the coin looks nice. I have even seen a couple with PVC damage bring big bucks. I pretty much run them straight up to 100 on the first day. Well this ike started out low and on day 1 I bid 99.00 like I always do. Expecting to get outbid within hours. Ended up, I won it for 83. For whatever reason the sharks left this one alone. And it is a key year. I know what price guide is on these but these being over a hundred regardless. And if this were to get a bean, 250 to 350 no problem. I haven't even won or bought one of these in over a year.
And in my quest to hoard all the bean coins I can get my hands on, I found this one on Reeded Edge the other day! Pretty nice seated bean coin!
This one popped up last night. Spotted it this morning. Seller price was reasonable. Coin very original. I think the overton 105.
Nice looking bustie, but you need to check your attribution. (Hint, the center dot on the reverse is diagnostic)
