This 1898 double eagle was purchased this week. Uncertified but looks like a MS 63 coin. No major hits and zero signs of wear.

I was buying when they were going for $1350-$1375. I quit after they passed $1400. I guess I'm hoping they return to this level before I add, but none of us may live to see that level again. ???

 

I saw this and with a starting bid of .99 I bid. Well no one else bid so I won darn.
Shipping is $5.50 so it's not so bad.

From a Marion Kay coin clock.

 

Here is my Marion Kay clock. All 1964 silver. Bought 1 year ago almost to the day. I know I got it for less than spot at the time. $2.30 face is about $36 or so right now. I did buy a new movement and it keeps perfect time. Some edge toning in some of the coins.

 

Arrived yesterday and much nicer in hand.

 

1892 cc Morgan. Clean g4. Paid ag3 value. Also last Carson city I needed so a good auction overall.
