Can't find a link. Guess I'll have to take a camera to the dealer. It is a non-mint coin worth silver by itself.
I meant to qualify, I ran it through Teletrade's free grading program with other coins. Two plus months later, it was in auction. I was hoping for a 66.
This one came in the mail today. The colors are awesome! These images are shot with axial lighting to bring out the surface texture and colors. Here are a couple more images showing the texture and color up close:
The Morgan arrived today. It's in an NGC 64 holder. Just couldn't pass it up, it jumped out at me. The FEC should arrive Monday or so. It's in a PCGS 6 holder, and is destined for the 7070. All images are TeleTrade's.
I'm not the biggest fan of the Presidential dollars, but I wanted to see get an inexpensive multi-coin slab just to check it out. This caught my eye:
I got these today. A guy down the street from me buys storage units and sells the stuff. I have gotten to know him so he cuts me some deals. He got a storage unit with some coins in it and saved me these. I paid $20 for the 16 of them which I felt like was a pretty good deal. They are as follows: 20, 20S, 23, 24, 25x2, 36, 39D, 40, 42x3, 42S, and 44x2. I bought a Whitman for my Mercurys recently and 9 of these filled holes so that was really exciting! (6 of them are doubles so if anyone is looking for some mercs to fill their folder I would love to trade) Also the one that is basically completely worn down is a 1911 Barber.
Can mercs in that condition be worth more than melt? I have some in similar condition will post in a more appropriate thread.
Well I got them for half of melt so I thought that was a good deal. I don't have the money for nice coins really and just like to get more coins to fill my books in any way I can at a good price(which is usually face value seeing as I just roll search typically). I hope I was ok to post mine here as I did just acquire them a few minutes ago.
