I mis read the value its $250 + the variety premium.... and Gilbert I seldom bet only on sure things....my eyes are old but like a hawk.... evidently they are better reading a coin than a list of numbers ...lol...I bet the farm on this one lol.....
@Paddy54 here are better pics of your ddo. The doubled die is most easily seen by the tops of the letters UNI.

Been landscaping a lot in the yard (yawn), and not doing much with the coins these past several weeks. Here are a few recent purchases. 1916-S Walker . . . brownish toning in the recesses strike me a little odd, but I had to buy the coin for retained detail. 1850-O Quarter Eagle . . . a weakly struck date. 1873-S Seated Half . . .
…another upgrade for my NGC registry set. I already had a nicely toned Barber half, but couldn’t resist when I saw this one.
O-privy Morgan showed up today. Due to my fumble fingers with the Mint site, I bought two of them. They are sharp!
1973 S MS66 IKE RATTLER! A lot prettier after I cleaned the tape glue off the slab with lens restorer!
Look what I found in the mailbox!! I was put on standby and never recieved a shipping notice, although it's probably buried in my thousands of unread emails. I didn't notice the payment either because I was shuffling between accounts. Long story short...I really like these. It's just crazy to to see a perfect one with no bag marks, patina, etc.
I know this series doesn’t get much love, but I have been collecting these since they came out. Got the new set yesterday.
