Recently bought these 2 ike dollar 1971 D Friendly Eagle MS64 and MS65. Both received CAC pass! I have a third MS65 that also passed but it doesn't have truview and I don't have a pic at the moment.
Here ya go Randy The fish scale is an rpd. A Frank Brazzell carved coin. The 1879 has a baseball like die crack and rpd too.
Beautiful 3 cent silver,im assuming the Indian is an overdate. Interesting hobo coin and the 3 cent is great to.
Have been keeping an eye out for one of these in white. Found this one and I am quite satisfied with it. I has some die cleaning line in the field, but not distracting in hand.
Here's the 09 s and another variety pick up The 1909 s was obtained from Len's coins a local dealer and friend! Its an woodie too. The 1868 is a pcgs plate coin for the mpd variety. From John Call at Allegiance Rare Coins The 1879 on the tag is another ihc variety unfortunately I can't delete it
It was carved by a well known carver who also known for elongated coin rollers . A cross between a love token, hobo, but refered to as a coin toon. Having a senior moment duh I do recall he is from Indiana ....ugh..Frank Brazell was the artist The fish scale is an rpd, the 79 rpd and baseball die crack.
A few h 10's 1843 shattered reverse variety I like to thank John Call for his assistance in aquiring these specimens
Go to sightwhite.com. I had to look it up after seeing it in the listing. Just another pair of eyes that confirm the MS surface of the coin.
In all my years ive never found a cud...yeah a few like pre cuds if you want to call them that but I am very close to finishing my IHC ....I now have two sets of Wayte Ramond boards one just about filled the other doubles, varieties , etc...I really like the collection in the boards. The collection ranges from Vf - Unc. But I have found that housing in the boards I enjoy the collection better than any other way of housing the collection. I also have a album and boards wayte Raymond with nickels from 1903- 1976 still a work in progress on the buffalo series. But during this pandemic its given me something to work on and enjoy.
I think you"re seeing things and that happens at times the eyes play tricks. But a few of the h 10s have been cleaned but heres the deal finding specimens that are the date, variety ,etc that haven't been messed with is extremely difficult. Sometimes one must take what you find and hope something better comes along. This specimen the poster child for my point above.
Nice looking specimen I see nothing that is distracting on the coin , or what would be any deferment from buying it nice pick up
