4 full diamonds and beads and full dentils and a bonus neck boil...I would say you did OK for under 50.
Today is “NO Big Deal” Friday. The two(2) pieces I’ve got today are exactly that. The first is a gold “colorized” or cheaply plated quarter. The point of interest is that I got it in change from my LCS. The second is a “FREE” nickel I got from AARP in an advertisement sales mailing. Like I said ... NO Big Deal ... but FREE is still FREE.
1 Maria Theresa Thaler 1780. 2 1971 blue Ikes in cellophane. A 2006 W proof silver eagle...pictures dont do it justice, looks pf70.
Tell me, from whom else are you gonna see a token with Friar Tuck, Pinocchio, Batman, Darth Vader, a young Harry Potter, and Ariel the Little Mermaid featured on it? Hard to get good photos of it with it's proof like fields . . . . . Z
Found this at goodwill for $3. I really wanna find out if that's a 1908 s, but don't want to take it out of the bezel.
Top finds CRH yesterday a mix of everything, silver, errors and the other uncommons just from one box of cents and nickels pretty good
This arrived today. The 1911 is a better date, infrequent in MS63 and rare in 64 and up. About 197,000 minted. Picked this up from Mike at ToughCoins.
Anyone have an idea on how to safely remove these coins, they are possibly glued into place? Maybe acetone?
