Found my very first W with V75 Quarter at a laundromat change machine in Helena, MT Had to scan this as my camera got lost. Looks better in-hand.
A few newps this week: A better date 1892-S Half Eagle . . . A better date still . . . the scarce 1895-S Half Eagle . . . And the best of the three . . . an 1872-S Half Eagle . . . sorry about the graze between the leaves and the eagle's right wing . . . that's in the plastic.
Picked up a couple. The Connecticut is my favorite state quarter design. The New Mexico I got because it's my home state.
...i started buying 1958 US coins last week to complete my birth set this year... here's the half....i'm unaccustomed to paying 8 or 9 times face value for modern coins..but ifn ya want it, that's most likely what you'll do...
1835 Large Date, Large 5C, LM-3, Rarity 1. Latest addition to my Capped Bust Half Dime collection. NGC did not attribute this and neither did the seller. When I checked it against the CAC listing, it came up as a Small Date which is an error in their database. I emailed them and we've been in contact so if they agree with me, I guess they'll change their listing.
Decent buy for $20 ,only paid that high because it has all the war nickels and some I actually don't have.
Found a CC Morgan that was both affordable and good lookin' Does the CC look odd or is it just me? VAM 2?
