and this lil beauty, a 1955-S, pcgs ms66rd, with a die break, or filled in area on left wheat stalk (seller and pcgs missed it)

 

that dollar looks more like a 68 than a 65, not a mark on it?? wt??

A common date, but all original, in hand anyways, I can't get a decent photo. I love it though.

 

They may have kept it down due to the planchet flaw. It's minor, but it's the only thing they can hang their hat on.

 

Maybe the minute carbon at (U)N(UM).

 

This one came from ToughCOINS as well.
I love 3 cent silvers but quit adding them to my collection about 20 years ago. When this one came up I kept telling myself no but 1861 and the rotation won.
It has me thinking about building some type of collection of the war years.
