My first ancient in a slab, sadly the purist in me had to bust it out. Robec, You have one magnificent bulls-eye toned Sitting Liberty Quarter Dollar and it is just stunning. That is the nicest Sitting Liberty toned coin I have ever seen. It must have been very expensive as I know how desirable bulls-eye toned coins go for. Congratulations on your new acquisition!
The listed PCGS Priceguide price of an XF40 jumping last week had me paying a bit more than I would've liked for this one, but I just couldn't live without it! It's a PCGS VF35. ... The holder's beat up, so whatever hairlines you see are probably on the slab. I'll try and get some better photos in a bit... I'm having a little trouble with my lighting source this evening. If anyone thinks they can determine the Overton variety by these photos, kudos to you! -Brian
Thanks coinczar. It is a keeper for sure. It actually wasn't as expensive as you might think. It was more than PCGS price guide but only about 2.5x. Worth every penny.
Here's my latest. Finally got around to taking pics of them. Sorry for the quality. My new camera pretty much sucks. But anyways got the 1802 Large Cent for right at $9.00 and the 1804 half cent for $30 even. Not terrible IMO but you decide.
