Do you mean the silver dollar or the clad half dollar? Of the three in the set, I prefer the dollar coin myself.

Since I got into coins a little late I've had to buy some sets from previous releases.

The 1918 Reverse. Sweet Dreams. And the toning on the 26-D insane.

Not to mention the 1918 Obverse. That mint press was doing its job.

Do you buy them from the mint or bank? When buying rolls of a specific year do you leave them sealed or inspect first?

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Seems like I am going to the bank to pick up some cents!!! :D
    Anybody need Denver cents?

If I buy a BU roll that came from a mint box or the bank I usually leave them rolled. I have put together a set of unc rolls starting in 1953 through 2011 PD and S cents with the exception of the proofs. My oldest unc roll is a 1942 S and I have a few more from the 40's and 50's. If I am paying a premium for a roll (more than a few dollars) then I usually inspect the rolls. The original bank rolls from the 40's and 50's I will not usually break them open. Occasionally I'll break open a few rolls from the 60's looking for toned coins or mint errors.I broke open an original 1955s roll and found a 55s double die that I had slabbed and it came back DDO ms64 red.

My latest Newp from FUN. NGC MS 65 RB. I'm pretty stoked about it. It took a while for me to get around to getting one in this date and condition. Turned out to be much tougher than some of the classic Keys.

Nice little RB.. I prefer the RB's, and BRN's, to RD's.
