The fields look spotty, or is that just on the holder? Also, what about the crescents? Eyelash on the holder, or is that on the coin? I will be receiving mine this week.
When the blemish or mark is doubled like that it almost always indicates that it is on the holder and not on the proof surfaces. One is the mark itself on the holder, the twin mark is the reflection in the mirrors of the coin.
Hi Ron, Less than 8 MB. I do use Photobucket so could be a problem on their side? I'm going to send an email to inquire.
Well with nothing better to do I thought I would start a collection of the new Presidential Silver Medals I find these to be especially well done and like the First Spouse series this could go on a while.
Haven't found one, but I found a nice one to buy 1995 DDO FS-101 And... this babe, an 1879 S, whom I will happily misrepresent with oddly angled photos.
Progress on my 20th Century type set. The 1909-p VDB comes from Allegiance @C-B-D The Barber half came from Mike @ToughCOINS The slightly toned 1950-D Jefferson and the 1946 Roosevelt came from eBay dealers.. So did the 1999 state quarter Mint set and the 1776-1976 Mint set. More, of course, to come!
1925 Buffalo Nickel. I just received this and in hand, I am blown away. It looks perfect, not a mark seen with the naked eye, I just wish the photos reflected how nice it looks.
