I'm starting to find more wheat pennies in bank rolls lately. I see this about 1 out of 8 rolls and every roll has had at least 1 wheat penny, some as many as 5. Some nice ones average ones even a 1909 I found 2 more 1943 P war nickels (still no 1942s) 2 silver dimes and 2 quarters, a clad 2006 proof (South Dakota) and a 1964 silver Just love the sound of that silver quarter when they drop it in your hand!
I recently bought a few scarce date seated dimes: 1840 With Drapery . . . An 1845-O which is not terribly special looking, but with XF detail, making it legitimately scarce. I think I did a poor job with these photos . . . A stunner of an 1853 No Arrows . . .
So I was going through my jar of Buffalo and War Nickels, and what do you know, there were 2 1942 P War nickels. And I thought I didn't have any.
And the fact that yes in deed you had a pair of disco shoes! https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...CeYQ3ywIOzAC&usg=AOvVaw1bM4YU64ZR9snOVOv7pfMu
Disco demolition caused the Chicago White Sox to cancel the second game of their double header way back. I was glad to see the disco era end!
1869 PCGS VF35 Slightly lower grade than I would have liked, but for short money, and a little nudge by @Paddy54, this coin with a mintage of 208,000 is mine!
A pretty nice, better date 1917-D Reverse mintmark Walker . . . A better date 1924-S Buffalo nickel . . . And a super nice high grade example of the 1919-D Walker . . . should be XF45 in my opinion.
