@Santinidollar , mine arrived today as well. Like you, mine will stay in OGP. Due to storage space, I take the coin out of the OGP and put them in a guardhouse box. I keep the coins in the safe and the OGP in a closet.
Honestly, that might be a better way of storing them. Cardboard and coins may be mutual enemies. I’m counting on the capsule obviously.
I recently made this storage change. All the coins I removed from the OGP were fine. No issues. I agree that packaging and coins don't always play well together, but I think the capsules the mint uses are pretty good. I did it because I was running out of room in the safe. I think I've mentioned this to you before, but that St. Gaudens you use for your icon is beautiful. Last year, I had Pete change my nickname. Work was so busy last year that I didn't have much free time, so I wasn't on this site much. I'm sure most members here don't remember me, but it's okay. I'm more of a lurker than an active poster.
I always have said that ASE's are redundant, and seem like a waste of $? BUT, I ALWAYS buy one every year? With that being said; the Proofs (like yours') are stunningly beautiful coins.
Good Day at the post office. I just noticed the 2019 ASE I took an image of is going in the bullion pile. I found a much nicer one among the group I purchased.
Went to a coin show in Foley, Alabama as part of a weekend jaunt with Mrs. Santinidollar. Came away with a new trio. First, I filled a hole in the Morgans. A nice solid coin:
From Alabama came the first Bust half in my collection. Unplanned buy, but glad to have this lady aboard.
