I had assumed as much but found that ass u me makes me look like an fool more than I already do. When it comes to what I keep, I don't care what anyone else thinks, period. (see my avatar, cleaned with PVC damage)
OH Yeah!! In fact, it was Capped Bust coins that kept me from completely converting to the Dark Side (ancients). I’m absolutely in love with the design, and especially the history of our Great Nation during the early 19th Century, when the Country was brand new. Pioneer spirit, and ANYTHING was possible!
Does it hurt the coin, as I have a tendency to listen, lol an they all say don't clean them. But there is a lot of old clean shiney coins laying around somewhere.
Acetone does not damage silver coins. It removes crud on coins. It does not remove environmental damage. Nothing can remove environmental damage. Looks like the SLQ just has crud.
I had never seen one that color, an really hadn't had time to look into it. Got it in a tip , from a nice couple
Perhaps a caveat is in order. Acetone can cause damage to LUSTER if that is still an issue. There, the art is about how long to dip before rinsing in distilled water. I'm usually working with coins in which luster is no longer an issue.
Just got these two franklins ... the bugs bunny’s was 25.00 and the 1961 was a gift. The bugs bunny variety is we’re the teeth looking things are on Ben Franklins mouth. .
Great “Bugs”! I was dreaming of getting one since I first started collecting. It was the first coin I saw with the word “variety” attached to it. A few months ago I bought one at a show.
Really nice..... I hope to get one someday! As of now I cant afford it . but I am looking forward to saving to buy one.
i got four 1969-S in very good condition and one not so good still sorting through my pre 1982 pennies, i might find more
