Friday and Saturday I found a few cool pieces. Not the best of condition but nice finds all out of Bank rolls. 4 Buffalo Nickels, 2 with readable dates 2 1944 war nickels. One has something like grout or cement on it. Some came off with my fingernail but not easily and a 1942 Mercury dime

Here is my newest acquisition. It may or may not be the first Type 2 gold dollar I've owned. I can't remember. The 1854-56 Type 2 "Indian Princess" is the toughest US gold dollar type. Per PCGS CoinFacts: This one looks nicer and more lustrous in hand (I saw it when I visited @Aethelred last month). These are temporary photos. You've gotta love those slanted 5's, which were an idiosyncrasy of engraver Christian Gobrecht's work.
