    Thanks iGrade.
The reverse looks nice but has no wild color -- more like a regular RED lincoln.
Yes the spot at 1 o clock is on the coin (a shame) -- I think that is why it's a 65 and not a 66.

The color on the obverse is some of the best I've seen on a MS coin ... in addition to the flourescent hot pink on the jacket ... there is some cool green working in under the date.

I was starting to feel jealous for all these commem collectors that own beautiful Texas pieces. Finally got one for myself, a 1935-D.

This one finally arrived, so I figured I'd post my own images.

Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. The scratch is even shallower than I expected. :)

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Absolutely love it! The bust on the obverse literally looks like one of my brother's charcoal drawings, absolutely love the shadowing. I definitely would love to afford collecting the bust series coinage.

Thanks, Caz! Yeah, I've definitely caught the Capped-Bust bug!!! :hail:

It doesn't take deep pockets to complete the series in a relatively-low grade (VG/F). And even in those grades, major design elements are still visible. And if your pockets are a bit more shallow, try collecting just a date set w/out varieties. The toughies are '07, '15/2, and '38-O, so by eliminating varieties and mintmarks, the only "key date" you're left with having to dish out a few extra bucks for is the '07!

Besides, it's the VF/XF, certified CBH's that are in really high demand right now. If I had caught the "Capped-Bust bug" a year ago, I probably wouldn't be paying near as much to complete the series as I am now... :foot-mouth:

    Try 'em out! :)

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

With my money tied up in 6 different sets, I am going to have to pass on completing a set, but will need to acquire one of each, half dime, dime, quarter, half, gold (Haha maybe not) of the CBH series to put in my type coins, so I might see what I can get from others on this site. I'd probably only get low grade examples because money is kind of a stretch for me, but I am determined to find the "one(s)"

USPS finally got around to delivering this one to me (albeit 10 days LATER than I expected...I swear, I'm never posting an image again until I have the coin in hand) and I finally got around to cracking, imaging, and "albuming" it today.
