All I know is she kept it with her jewelry at least sense I was born, ( 1974 ) LOL. My grandmother passed in 2014 and Mom just gave me this today. Imagine the stories it could tell.

Pretty good day, found both of these in bank rolls. The war nickel caught my eye by the finish (not seen well in the pictures), the back had some sticker on it covering the mint mark. The penny is now the 8th Indian head I have found the last 4 years at work. The first one was so beat up I needed a loop to tell what it was. I found one other in a bank roll, it was a nice 1899.

The Morgan is PL, not sure why they didn't label it as such.

So with a little testing on my phone and an app I found, this turned out pretty decent limo.

    Oh ok...that explains it.

Does it have to have a certain amount of PL or is PL PL if you know what I mean regardless?

    Yes.........

"PCGS defines surface Prooflike as clear reflection in the fields on both sides as viewed from two to four inches away. A misty effect or striations may impede the reflectivity.

The PCGS definition for Deep Mirror Prooflike is clear reflection in the fields on both sides from at least six inches away. There must be full, undistorted reflectivity on both the obverse and reverse."

Maybe this is my newest, maybe not. It took me a little while to get it photographed. MS65 FB, in an OGH.

No, there's no D mintmark. Did you look?

Edit: I saw the photo showed a piece of crud that fell off inside the camera, so I reposted the equivalent photo without the crud. (Took me forever to get the camera apart and get it out.)

Just received this proof. Credit goes to Tomb, Tom Bush for the images. He does some great work.
