Did a little horse trading with C-B-D here's what I got...of course half dimes some better dates and mint marks. Again these are getting harder to find...all of the time.... The 1872 S had the mint mark both above and below the wreath...I had the 72 S below so this one completes the mint mark varieties fot this date. 72 has a few other major varieties for the year. And one more an 1875 3 Cent Nickel a date I did not have ,this came with a plus a MPD in the neck the flag of the 1 MPD FS-301.
I think I got confused. I was watching two coins at auction, this MS63 and a 1904 proof. I started thinking this was the proof so I pushed my bid a little higher than I intended. Fortunately for me, the other bidders let it go at a reasonable price. I do like it, so it all worked out fine.
Picked these 2 up for $67 each. I couldn't resist with the reverses being so pretty and in the old ANACS slabs. They ended up being much better in hand than in the photos.
Lol. That’s has mottled actually iridescent toning. Probably was in an old paper envelope for years. I was afraid pcgs would bag it as they’ve been nuking anything with color for awhile but this submission they were good
A very original 1909-S $5 Indian . . . A surprisingly scarce 1874-S dime. I looked past the few marks to buy it for its great crusty look . . . it's not often I buy marked up coins, but this was an important opportunity. An appealing example of the very scarce 1855-O Seated Quarter . . . An original higher-grade 1917-D Reverse Walker . . . A very nice looking 1906 Quarter Eagle . . . not scarce, but pretty.
