My daughter picked this presidential coin and medal set out for six dollars. She had four to choose from. THis one, seated liberty, and i cant remember the other two, lol. I picked up the 56 and 57-D Washington's IMG_1236.JPG IMG_1237.JPG IMG_1241.JPG

My new 1828 (B-4, R.3) quarter arrived Saturday from J. Robinson Rare Coins! I now only need an 1822 to consider my large sized capped bust quarter date set tentatively complete (1824/2 is too pricy for me at the moment, but maybe not in the future). Graded G06 by PCGS; pictures are the seller's.

Big fat thumbprint on the reverse, but I suspect that's on the capsule.......:) Loverly. :)

Indeed, silly me. I paid nearly guide value for this coin because it was a definate need for my type collection, and I could not find one at this grade MS64 with this luster despite looking for a long time. I am a collector who hates toning of any kind so to find this one was well worth to me what I paid for it, especially since I'm not going to be selling it.

IMG_0667.JPG IMG_0672.JPG IMG_0671.JPG I've always wanted a Norfolk since I was stationed there in the late 90's. I couldn't pass this one up, especially since I got it without paying any toning premium.

These four belong to a fellow collector - I think we are submitting the Barber, the Morgan, and the Lincoln to NGC. I see no reason to submit the Peace, unless someone can identify it as a VAM that NGC recognizes.
