You know there's like 14 of them? Some are tricky.

I guess there is a very little something going on inside below the top of the D, but nothing I would pay a premium for considering how big some of the repunched mint marks are on this date.

I do believe that it is one ,however would need detail shots of the obv. And rev. To determine what one. Look at Wexler site he's has all of the 14 listed with the pup.
No matter is a sweet coin no question .

Nice strike. Many I have seen have a weak reverse.

That's basically what this one was - weak reverse, but still really nice.

I was surprised to find a decent $1 gold liberty under 300. At least , I think.

I bought one a few weeks ago but it is not nearly as nice as yours. I paid less than 300....but I forget the amount. I'll look it up tomorrow and let you know.

I just bought this from a local antique dealer....These are the sellers photos, I will get some better photos tomorrow :)

Antique bronze plaque / sign from the Liberty Trust Co. of Cumberland, MD. Removed during renovation after the bank closed, the bronze standing liberty coin plaque has been in storage. It still maintains its original patina - nothing has been done to it since it was removed. It's 12" in diameter x 1" thick. It weighs close to 8 lbs. It resembles a "Standing Liberty" quarter from the same era. The design is the original bank logo and is dated 1917 - so it's 100 years old. The bank officially opened in 1919. A rare item from Cumberland Maryland's history.

Here's something a little different. There are a few die polish lines evident on both sides:

  19. Down to 15 Barber Half Dollars for the set and it's getting hard to fill the last holes. Decided to add to my fledgling Seated Half set.
