For low grade coins those are very nice. I especially like the 1826. If you don't mind how much did you have to pay for them?
That seems like a great price to me. I have seen a 1826, not quite as nice, go for $120 online. But I admit I don't know much about capped bust half prices since I don't own any, yet.
That's one of the reasons I do 98% of my shopping with local stores. I usually get better prices with them over online, plus can see the coins in hand. Like with the 1826 in that photo it's hard to see it has been cleaned.
Some more fun stuff: A colorful 1929 Lincoln (more vibrant than it appears) . . . A homely but scarce BU 1945 Merc with barely split bands . . . A cool Roosie struck through reeding . . . A scarce 1883-S Half Eagle in mint state (NGC MS62) . . . A rare 1889 $10 Lib grade UNC Details (in a PCI MS64PL holder) . . .
Picked up this 1.5 oz. For less than I paid for the 1oz., only was not numerically graded, still a good deal. ( sellers pics. )
Seller wanted $70.00, but let me have it for $58.00. I see a 1 oz. for. $60.00, on the bay now. ( I already have one. ) I like this one, and the winged liberty is even better, IMO.( ST. Gaudens. )
I'd love to get both gold and silver versions, but as hard as it is I'm keeping my focus on one series right now
Sometimes it's hard to stay focused on your collection needs, when something pops up that you can't resist buying, even if not on your radar. Stay strong, don't listen to the siren call.
