Coin needs light to show the color, but really nice color when she gets some. Like this one alot.

Love that V Nickel Bahabully. I picked this one up today for my circulated 20th century type set. I know the reverse has a bit of a crustacean farm growing on it, but I believe this actually adds character to the coin, so I bought it anyways.

Picked up this beauty today before the shop closed for the holiday. Love these big Canadian silver dollars!

 

A guy gave this to me for free. He was asking $15, but then I said I wasn't interested in it, so he sent me it and another dime with it. Nice people.


Should I consider giving it an acetone bath?

New Toned Buffalo

Just got this one in today. Very hard to get the red toning. PCGS MS66.

And remove all that gorgeous dark grey and black crust? Good lord, no.

 

Picked this up at the Flea Market today. I don't really know why, it just spoke to me. It has a healthy dose of whatever it is that makes me like old copper.

This came in the mail a few days ago. It has so much more color than the sellers pix -- I love it when that happens. Nicely toned Kennedy Halfs with a bit of color are a tough find.

I like those little three cent pieces. They seem to be over looked many times. Yet they have a unique look, small size and are made from silver. I have had more comments about them than the two cent piece. Fewer people seem to know they even existed.

 

Needs a little TLC for the green stuff though huh? Otherwise a nice example.

 

This is my first one that I got for my raw Type Set. I agree that not many people pay attention to them. Probably has to do with their small size.
