Really? David Hall contacted you about the coin? That's pretty cool. As far as the like, you can have it. A token of appreciation for being one of the upfront honest good guys.
got this for my birthday from my mom... well, she sent me a check and said go buy a coin, so i did as she requested. constantius ii (337-361), ae4, constantinople mint obv: diademed bust facing right, DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG rev: two soldiers with one standard between, "o" in banner, GLORIA EXERCITVS CONSB in exergue
Oh, just hold onto the 'like' always nice seeing someone offering an explanation as to a change of heart after the fact..~ I did like the coin though.. What other negative comments did you get on it that finally changed your mind?
Love that V Nickel Bahabully. I picked this one up today for my circulated 20th century type set. I know the reverse has a bit of a crustacean farm growing on it, but I believe this actually adds character to the coin, so I bought it anyways.
Picked up this beauty today before the shop closed for the holiday. Love these big Canadian silver dollars!
A guy gave this to me for free. He was asking $15, but then I said I wasn't interested in it, so he sent me it and another dime with it. Nice people. Should I consider giving it an acetone bath?
Picked this up at the Flea Market today. I don't really know why, it just spoke to me. It has a healthy dose of whatever it is that makes me like old copper.
This came in the mail a few days ago. It has so much more color than the sellers pix -- I love it when that happens. Nicely toned Kennedy Halfs with a bit of color are a tough find.
TexasJarhead; I like those little three cent pieces. They seem to be over looked many times. Yet they have a unique look, small size and are made from silver. I have had more comments about them than the two cent piece. Fewer people seem to know they even existed.
This is my first one that I got for my raw Type Set. I agree that not many people pay attention to them. Probably has to do with their small size.
