How you felt when you heard the news.</p><p><br /></p><p>Yes, I remember hearing of the assassination of JFK when I was in school that day, even as a little kid.</p><p>We were sent home early.</p><p><br /></p><p>Our Zenith black and white television on all day and night. The three or four channels that we had covering this event continuously for days. Then the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald, the funeral when President Kennedy lay in state and the long silent procession.</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1472220[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>I can still remember the clip clop clip clop of the horses which is all the sound that was really heard the whole way to Arlington Cemetery.</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1472221[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>I have visited this place of the eternal flame on a later school field trip at Arlington, still in grade school.</p><p>Although, I really had no understanding of politics or vicious crimes as a small kid, </p><p><br /></p><p>I do remember as I did, that all the people around me and on the TV, all seemed to share the same confusion, grief and sadness.</p><p>It was a time when everyone was united completely, on some emotional common place.</p><p><br /></p><p>I had the same feeling when the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon and the jet fell in Pennsylvania on 9-11-01.</p><p><br /></p><p>Only then.
