My mailbox moved this weekend. The Stephen Album auction and an eBay buy. The eBay one was interesting, the seller sent the wrong medal--a higher priced restrike of a classic Art Deco design. But I wanted this one, original (including the original box) and also in Art Deco, but a slightly lesser known/seen one. Sorted everything out easily, he immediately refunded enough for me to return ship (he only asked for first class, but the amount he sent was enough for a flat rate small box so I did that). The boxes crossed in the mail and both the return and the correct medal arrived the same day. It's my second one with a French Senator inscription. From Stephen Album, two fun finds. One is 'Hygie', a daughter of the God of Medicine (Asclepius) and the Goddess of Healing (Epione). She represents health/hygiene/sanitation/cleanliness. I just liked it. and one random one, the Belgium Touring Club, purchased for the reverse as I love a good globe and, well, Storks.
