For a while I would occasionally see his books pop up on eBay but I never considered them "must haves" as his work was older and superseded by Cunningham. I should have taken a side shot, this volume is much slimmer than Cunningham's, about 1/2" to Cunningham's 3 1/4". Curto's work attempts to be much broader in subject matter including cataloging medals, challenge coins, wooden nickels, etc. Slowly I began to get interested in actually purchasing some of his work - just to see what it was and if nothing else to add it to my collection. When this signed copy came available I couldn't resist. Interesting to note some of the differences between Cunningham and Curto. Cunningham organizes tokens by state/country then alphabetically while Curto goes by type such as Airfields, Arsenals, Barracks, Camps, Forts, etc.

With the addition of the above book, my military token reference library now includes four volumes![/QUOTE]
