I bought this quarter size token a couple years back to add to my nickel collection. I don't know how many exist but Adolf had these made. There seems to be a bit of his ego preserved. Don't get me wrong, I gained nothing but good stuff and did not dislike the guy. I was a member back in the 1970's and met with the sometimes cantankerous Adolf Weiss, co-founder ( Philip Petrillo Adolf Weiss, and Karl Nenninger ) of the PAK Full Step Nickel Club in a private home of a fellow club member and his family and friends studying nickels until the wee hours on a Friday or Saturday night. He took a special interest in our local coin club YN's in N. Central PA and I must admit that his teachings, discoveries and knowledge were quite helpful to many. When Adolf spoke, people listened or else! I did get on his good side and he lightened up a bit on me. Maybe because I just kept my mouth shut and ears open. One day he just fell off the face of the Earth and took all the PAK club archives and assets with him. Very strange, but I think later he ended up in Oregon, clear across the country from Monclair NJ. I believe he died basically a recluse out there but I am not sure.
