    I like these "go-alongs", dwhiz. I have a die used to print wooden nickels for a coin club and an example of the finished product. I'll find an image and post it later.

    I found the image of the die and the associated wooden nickel (Crescent City CC). The die looks to be lead but I can't be sure.

    I think this is a badge of some sort,
    Made of lead ( i think) about 1.5in across. 9.9g
    That's an S at the bottom under the S of USA.

    US AirForce Bien Hoa Vietnam club token, plated brass, M/A, 24mm, 5.36 grams. Somewhere on the contractor's drawing it said
    ( 2 sides) meaning same design on both sides, which was very common with Vietnam club tokens. Apparently, the contractor thought
    (2 sides) was supposed to be on the tokens.

    Since the club served food and Open Mess is on the design, maybe he thought (2 sides) was Good for two side orders?

    Note: This is not the real color. It's plated brass and bright. Sorry, I can't get silver-looking pics to come out right.
