Along the same lines, here is a 1915 "Naughty Bears" spinner from the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. These can be found without the spinner frame but to find one in original condition is quite difficult. Z
Nice token! I've yet to buy one or find one metal detecting, yet. Some day. Saw an IHC with "Not For One Cent" on the reverse dug by a fellow detectorist.
I got to know Russ a bit over the years. I submitted quite a bit of my token research to him and always found him to be helpful and friendly. His passing was a great loss to us all. Bruce
I was reorganizing my 'vintage stuff' collection (for lack of a better term) and stumbled across this and I thought it would be a neat thing to post. I like how they shaped the bottom one to look like a helmet.
Cool! I found (dug) a small "token" with a similar Picture on one side. Here is my " Annual Fair Token". Does anyone know how old it is? It's the size of a US cent, bronze and Has "The Lord's Prayer" on one side. Religious token perhaps?
Nice find Sal. I think It could be from 1860 to 1900. With the Lord's Prayer on it I wonder if it could be a George Soley piece. I wonder being the key words as there is not a complete list of what he made.
Thanks! It was an awesome hunt as town workers did a redo of an old ballpark. The finds were literally on the surface! The rest were just inches below the surface. One guy found a seated dime! I found mostly trinkets, IHC's, Wheaties and some household items.
