Is that something over the ear or just wear? It looks like a plug but it doesn't go all the way through. If it's wear, it seems like too much compared to the rest. What is that?
I don't really know but I'll guess it's just wear. That area is the high spot in the design. Maybe it just didn't strike up. It's listed somewhere but I forgot what it is called. It's nothing rare.

I saw a token from an ebay sale in this month's Talkin' Tokens that was "Good For One Whip Cracker." A whip cracker is a tip that gives the whip it's cracking sound. Wish I had bid on it.
