    I dug this one from a swim beach just south on the TN river from Nathan Bedford Forest State Park.

    By the year 1939 I'd say it was issued at the Worlds Fair. Many companies used the opportunity to advertise at such a big event. Very nice token.

    I agree, and the Chrysler Building would be a nod to New York, too. I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere, though.

    I actually came across the Chrysler piece while looking for tokens with the Trylon and Perisphere on them, so...:happy:

    A wonderfully toned brass medal from Dresden, Germany for the first singing festival held in 1865. Over 20,000 performers, singing clubs and spectators alike from Europe and across the world flocked to the city for the three day festival. Numerous concerts were held, many directed by the leading German conductors of the day.

    I bought a 1971 annie oakley little miss sure shot commemorative bronze coin at a coin show back in 1971 when I was a little kid. Is it worth anything?
