Here's a huge SNAC medal from 1962. It's pretty impressive at 60mm. I love the portrait of Lincoln too.

A couple new arrivals. A Netherlands counterstamp and German love token!

I don't really know and the person I purchased it from wasn't entirely sure either. What I did know is I liked it! I know anchor marks were employed by the Dominican Republic in the late 18th century on Spanish cobs, but was unable to find this specific one. But, the anchor was also used as a privy mark on French coins of the period and interestingly in 1822 an attempt was made to unite the entirety of Hispaniola joining the Spanish Dominican Republic and French Haiti. So a possible connection there. Also the seller found reference that it may have been a military/navy counterstamp. I agree in thinking it is quite a nice stamp and probably official as well. I'm full of ideas, but no concrete evidence... yet!
