I believe it is the couple other ones I have don't have it. I have spent any time going thru this site https://www.apothecariesweights.com/catalogue/ Lots of info on them
Your weight was from the John M. Maris Co. (Philadelphia). The Diamond M trademark was apparently the only one he used. Yours seems to be late 1800's (?) See here( Page 138) https://books.google.com/books?id=3...e&q="John M Maris" apothecary weights&f=false Bruce
Not quite a Cheerios dollar. But it looks like these might have come in cereal boxes back in 1998. Interesting factoid is that 98 was the first year of snowboarding being an Olympic sport as well as the first sport that did not first have a demonstration prior to being added as a medal sport.
@Jwt708 I'm looking for brass octo's of O Paape. I have a few military payment certificates. Which ate you looking for? counterstamped US bills or foreign for US military use?
@Circus do you see anything other than perhaps $5 tokens here?I have the chance at bidding a 100 lot today but am not finding these anywhere? THX
Personally I don't see anything even approaching more than bargain box/50% off items condition condition and and all other than the equipment tag and a few arcade tokens appear to have condition problems and even with the corrosion removed it will leave marks. I wouldn't pay more than $30.00 for the lot unless there is something I just had to have. I would go for $20./$25 but that is just me.
