Took my daughter to an antique mall and found these two items. Mr. Hall ran for Lt. Governor of Texas in 1972. @Circus do you know how much silver is in the casino token?
Without removing the insert its hard to be exact, but generally they are .6 to .75 of a troy ounce. in the local pawn shops and the coin store they go from $15.00 to $20.00 or slightly less if you buy multiplies. Great subject matter on both sides.
Picked this up at the local market a couple daze ago. Medallion or Buddhist amulet of Luang Paw Koon, a very famous monk who died a few years ago not far from where I live. I see a date of (BE) 2538 at about the 5 o'clock position on the reverse. That would be 1995 AD.
Another pre-sale opportunity to preview an estate sale in Dallas... the 5th shot down is vars. of the token above it with the broken S. Glad I lugged the atwood-coffee along....
I'm not sure if you're trying to find other examples in metal of O. PAAPE or metal tokens...if it's metal tokens, don't worry, they're widely available! Here's another fiberboard token: This token has been posted here before, but here it is again!
