Some random but fun recent purchases this first one was formerly a pin before I got it A couple of by tokens, same each side This one has a nice high relief and color A pretty piece of bullion from China, sticker residue on the plastic covering the capsule on the reverse Last for this post is some time traveling Australian bullion, I know the sticker is on it but who looks at the queen really
I like those Minot tokens! I have a couple myself but I'm on my phone right now and don't have the pictures handy.
@H8_modern , I have a decent selection of tokens from Minot AFB with a few gaps. Please look at my token similar to yours (ND120d). What do you think - is your's darker, lighter, or about the same as mine? Cunningham records there is a light blue variety but mine is the only one I've ever seen. I assumed it was the light blue variety because it's pretty light. ND100a, brass, 21mm ND100b, brass, 25mm ND110b, brass, 26mm ND120d, aluminum, 22mm ND120f, aluminum, 27mm ND120h, aluminum, 22mm ND120k, aluminum, 27mm
Some tokens and a chip that escaped my last batch of photography: GR1820, Germany, Zweibruecken AB, brass, 25mm KR1360f, Korea, Osan AB, plated brass, 24mm JP2010d, Japan, Johnson AB, plated brass, 21mm AK620d, Alaska, Shemya AFS, aluminum (gold), 32mm MS31b, Mississippi, Columbus AFB, clay, 40mm (unlisted) VN5310c, Vietnam, Tan Son Nhut AB, plated brass, 21mm
I suspect yours is the regular blue and mine the light blue variety. I'll have to get in the book tonight and see what it says and amend my notes. I like to include variety information whenever I see it.
For any that are having a hard time figuring out what is on the token, It is an old style pinball machine on the back of a jet/rocket ship It took me a while to figure it out
Just acquired this morning, in a swap with @nencoin (Northeast Numismatics.) I've wanted a Niobe medal since I first saw one. Fell in love with the design: the wonderful schooner and that ghostly, solemn cross hovering in the mist above the waves. I had browsed around and bookmarked a few. All the ones I had seen were in silver. This one is gold, and PCGS-graded Specimen-66, to boot! I didn't even know the gold ones existed until recently. Germany (Weimar Republic): gold specimen striking of a medal honoring the victims of the sunken schooner Niobe, 1932 PCGS SP66. Population 1 with 1 higher as of 10/15/2019. Schlumberger-123 Au, gold, 22 mm, 6.45 g.

Picked up another art round at the LCS Fleck of gold in the pan, to celebrate the centennial of Alaska's gold rush with the names of the locations on the reverse
Had a customer bring about 50 of these through work trying to tell me they are silver and wanted to sell them to me, knowing morw than likely they were not silver I told him no thanks but he dropped a couple while leaving and I found one of them while cleaning tonight. My question is this one of those mass produced tokens for all amusement places or is it specific to something. I tried google but came up with nothing so it makes me think mass produced.
