Here's another medal I pulled out of a box of exonumia I haven't looked through in a long while. A nice 30mm Elks medal from 1968. Although I have some Masonic pieces I think this is the only Elks piece I have. Bruce
Anything that has a nice design or is appealing in some way interests me. While large medals are usually more impressive, smaller ones can be impressive in different ways...Craftsmanship, subject of the medal, design elements, etc. Bruce
Good for $20 @ BHCC (Beverly Hills Coin Club). Copper, M/A, 27mm, 8.3 grms. Club was founded in 1987 by Chris AAble and Buddy Ebsen. I'm sorry but there's a certain irony about a coin collector who used say "Wellllllll doggie" so much. RIP Buddy.
I don't know anything about this medal but it's a nice high relief piece showing great craftsman. I don't know who struck it (MACO?) or for what real purpose. Bruce
A large collection of Canadian exonumia and trade dollars that I just bought, almost 850 pieces... should be fun to paw through it!!
You're in for some fun now SPP. Make sure show us some of your "goodies" when you get a chance. Bruce
