incuse I look at it now and see that it was hit so hard by a counterstamp on the obverse that it transferred to the reverse.

Warren Coin Club (Warren County Mich) Antiqued bronze, M/A, 35mm, 14.4 grams--(thin planchet)
This medal is giving me a real headache. at first I thought the reverse was rotated about 15 degrees. Then while I was putting it in the flip it curled so that the torch and fasces formed an X instead of a cross but then the reverse was correctly oriented. So I left it in the flip like that but that is not right. For date on the obverse to orient correcty the torch and fasces have to be a cross not a X . So I think my original image is correct and it does have a rotated reverse. Now I have to cut it out of the flip and put it into a new one. :banghead:

Small correction see below, it isn't a county
Warren is a city in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The 2010 census places the city's population at 134,056, making Warren the largest city in Macomb County, the third largest city in Michigan, and Metro Detroit's largest suburb.

I think who ever designed that medal should have put a little more thought into the obverse. It looks to me like the central design and the outer border text should have been aligned better. I think they were trying to make an X not a +.

Also as I was at my friends LCS, I asked him if the group was still operating. It is not!
