Awesome, I've yet to add that one to my collection, but have wanted it because I have a soft spot for pictorial tokens. Good write up too. Hopefully I remember to check out the video, I'm in the hospital for medical treatment (I'm fine) and won't be home for a while.

 

Just got this HUGE bank token from India. 47mm high - 19.5 grams

 

Very impressive, coin_nut. Do you know what it's used for?

Thanks, coin_nut, that's really interesting. Although not quite the same, they remind me of the old charge cards issued by department stores in the late 1800s and early 1900s (?). Some were really elaborate with a unique serial number for each customer. I used to have a small number of them, but think I sold them along with some other exonumia a few years ago.

Just kidding, I have lots of big silver coins and only a few big coppers.

 

Log Cabin token counter stamped with "FR" in a box. No idea what it is. I now see some faint words around the edge as if it was struck over another token. "Has no cash or trade value"
