These were in a box of common modern world coins mixed with casino and Chuck E Cheese tokens. I just dumped them in with the lot of game tokens but now thinking they may have had another purpose. Came across them today when going back to look for N.Y.C. Subway system transit tokens. Any ideas?
The are stock dies good for in trade tokens, most companies had a couple of pages in their catalogs with stock dies that could be combined to make a custom token at a lower price than having a die made. They are in great shape
Boxed set of 7 medals assembled for Queen Victoria's visit to Birmingham for the dedication of Aston Hall and park in 1858. The medals span BHM #2613-2619 and were produced by several engravers (Moore, Ottley and Pinches).
