I have another one that has the word copy almost erased but it sightly seen with an oblique light source.some of the larger dollar value coins are doctored and sold as real.
That a pretty cheesy thing to do, But I know that some will do such things. Probably why mine was made with the incorrect date.
Mint token. I didn't notice it until I looked at my photo, but some states have stars on them.I found 9.
For years Las Vegas used the silver dollar coin as the token for $1 slot machines and would accept it's use at low minimum blackjack tables. This casino went so far as to imprint their $1 chip with the likeness of the Peace Dollar, on both sides of their $1 chip. In higher grade value, it is worth more to chip collectors then 19 different years of MS63 Peace dollars are to coin collectors.
This day November 19 1863, Lincoln gave his Gettysburg Address. Don't know who engraved or struck this medal, and it's in rough shape. But I keep it anyways because I like what it stands for. Someone sure didn't know how to handle medals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gettysburg_Address
The Palace Station used a nickel/silver inlay for some of their chips ca. 1976. The Stardust was noted for using a similar inlay for some of it's chips from 1985 until it closed in 2006. Chris
Bought this at a coin show just because it's interesting. It was in a dealers box even though it's a keychain or medal. I'd appreciate any translation help. I'm not sure but I think one side is Chinese and the other is Japanese.
I always try to find a token from my home town. One time an eBay seller threw a free token in my order and it was from my home town! Really made me happy.
Circa 1816-1820 George III Bullhead Shilling with "JS" counterstamp. I liked this counterstamp because it has my initials! .925 silver and only cost $2 above melt.
Seller's pictures. Formerly OH-100B-3a, this is now classed as OH-165CY-110a, Rarity 9. I upgraded the one already in my collection (an honest VF) to this, NGC MS63BN. I have seen two others exchange hands on the 'bay in the last year, and both were in the F/VF range. If you believe the rarity, this one may be the finest known. As much as I'd love to believe the rarity, I think it may be a bit overstated. I think this is more like an honest R-7 pairing.
This was something I found in between the pages of a Red Book that I had bought on ebay a few years back.
