Ya but like finding your favorite toy...one that speaks to you on numerous levels beyond round shiny things! Seriously though...those tokens (and MPC and paper chits) are the numismatic legacy from that war. Hmmm...it's late here.

Picked this one up recently. Nice,big silver dollar sized drink token that should at least make a good conversation piece. The wife didn't seen to keen on conversing about it though. Wonder what would happen if I call that number??
These were given to members of the 101st as they were leaving the unit in Viet Nam, as a memento, and headed back to the Real World (the States). This one is mine, given in March of 1968. I never got around to having it engraved.
I have a couple more questions about this one - these are sort my thing They'll have to wait though. I'm traveling right now and will have to get back to you. Thanks for posting it Ron!
