    I saw where somebody posted a Hindu Token or Medal so I thought I would show off mine. I think it's actually some kind of Amulet Medal. Plus my US Gov't Building Medal from 1893, think it was given out at the Columbian Expo in Chicago. ~Cheers Barber Bookshelf & Jacket 080.JPG Barber Bookshelf & Jacket 077.JPG Barber Bookshelf & Jacket 082.JPG Barber Bookshelf & Jacket 085.JPG Barber Bookshelf & Jacket 084.JPG

    Is this a good or bad thing? I tested it for silver for on the Puretest stone and it tested positive bright red color for silver.

    This is one monster size thread. Wish we could break it into many more specialized threads.

    Monster size? Try going to the thread about current coin purchases for marathon postings. There just isn't anyway you can draw a dividing line. Plus that, it's the variety I see that makes me come back to look more often.

    49ers;

    All your medals look top rate. You must have been collecting for some time. You deserve one big "LIKE" for the contributions.

    There's good and bad with that. There's not an exonumia section so most of our pieces go here. Gives a nice variety of things to look at!

    It is not a question of good or bad, this is a Great thread and like Jwt says it keeps him coming back to see what's new. for guys like me however, who have specialized long ago I like to be able cut down on search time. I collect military medals of the German States for example and had to wade through tons of neat stuff until I found 49ers' Wuerttemberg medal and I am sure that nearly all here sooner or later may feel the same way.
